Nutritional IV Therapy
Intravenous therapy or IV therapy is the infusion of liquid substances directly into a vein. Oral medications and vitamins must first pass through the digestive system before they reach the bloodstream and can begin taking effect. However, IV infusions deliver the nutrients quickly and effectively which has an almost immediate effect with a higher rate of absorption. Intravenous therapy may be used for fluid administration to correct electrolyte imbalances and to deliver important nutrients that may be lacking in your diet for a number of reasons.
